Yoga Class in aid of CRISIS - Wednesday 11th December 2019 18:30 to 20:00 - Laleham Village Hall - Fully booked

Crisis is the national charity for single homeless people.  They are dedicated to ending homelessness by delivering life-changing services and campaigning for change. Their innovative education, employment, housing and well-being services address individual needs and help people transform their lives.  They are determined campaigners, working to prevent people becoming homeless, and advocating solutions informed by research and their direct experience.  They have ambitious plans for the future and are committed to help more people in more places across the UK. They know they won’t end homelessness overnight or on their own. But they take a lead, collaborate with others and, together, make change happen.

Crisis at Christmas

Crisis opens centres over the Christmas period every year. Their Christmas centres offer homeless and vulnerably-housed people across London (and other cities) companionship at a time of year which can be particularly lonely for those without a home or family. At these centres, the guests are provided with:

As well as the many thousands of volunteers to staff the centres, money is needed to pay for goods and materials  (£28.87 per guest).  If you are interested in volunteering: Link to CRISIS.

Bring a Yoga mat, cushion and light blanket for the meditation. No normal classes that evening.

Afterwards we will go to the Three Horseshoes for a Christmas drink, so if you can't take part in the class please meet us there.
